Meet Emily, from Emily Grace Photography

Hello! I’m Emily and my studio is based in Bitterne Park, Southampton. I specialise in family photography and my passion is capturing precious memories that we can look back on as let’s face it our children grow and change every single day.

I have over 6 years experience and a BA (hons) degree where I specialised in photography. Due to newborn photography being such a specialised area, I have also completed 6 newborn courses ensuring your precious newborn is safe in my hands.

I offer a wide range of shoots both in my home studio as well as out on location. These include newborn, maternity, sitter, cake smashes, older babies and children, paint splashes, glitter shoots, fairy shoots as well as events such as Christmas, bluebells and sunflowers etc. As well as the above shoots, I also offer bespoke shoots. I have two children of my own who are fantastic models (most of the time!) and we have a great deal of fun and laughter creating memories which I cherish. I absolutely love looking back over the photos seeing how they’ve changed and my walls are covered!

After teaching as a secondary and primary school teacher, I have a great deal of experience with children and completely understand that every child and their needs are different. I try my best to make everyone feel relaxed and comfortable at their shoots.

I have a BA (Hons) degree in Media and Culture, where I specialised in digital photography. As well as this, I have completed newborn training with Emma Jane from Little Love Photography, Tracy Willis from Tracy Willis Photography and Yolanta from Dream Artsy Photography.
