Newborn Photoshoots in Southampton, Hampshire
Emily Grace Photography specialises in Newborn photoshoots. Capturing images of your precious babies when they have just arrived into this world. Their little fingers and toes, their delicate features, a treasured memory we never want to forget. They grow and change so quickly in those early days and every stage, just as perfect as the next. They will be images you will cherish for a lifetime and something you never regret.
It is best to book your newborn session in advance as we aim for baby to be under 3 weeks for these sessions, ideally 6-14 days. However, if baby has already arrived, we can still capture some beautiful images so please do contact me.
These newborn sessions take place in my garden studio in Bitterne Park, Southampton and last between 2 and 4 hours. If you wish to add a few pictures of siblings /family, this is no problem and can be added into your session.
For all sessions, you can choose from my selection of props and outfits and the session is styled to your preferences.

Frequently asked questions:
It is advisable to book after your 20 week scan to ensure you can get a space. I usually book you in for around 9-12 days after your due date and then if baby is born particularly early or late we can reschedule the date.
Yes you are welcome to have a few parent/sibling shots with your newborn, but please note that after school and weekends get booked in advance and there are more limited spaces.
We aim for babies to be between 6 and 18 days for the session as they are still very sleepy and curled up. However, I still photograph older babies as every memory of our baby at any age is a precious memory.
You need to bring plenty of milk; bring more than you need just in case. Bring extra nappies and anything that settles your baby. If they take a dummy bring this and a spare dummy. I have lots of outfits, bonnets, hair bands, wraps, props, blankets etc. You only need to bring accessories with you if it is for a personal or sentimental reason.
In the contract, I state 3 weeks. However, my usual turnaround is 1-2 weeks.
